If I had a month off,
I would spend it digesting all the information at Birger Hjorland's new joint: The Epistemological Lifeboat.
I'd also finish up talking about all the great art we saw last fall. I revisited some of the images today. One that really sticks out was a show at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. These photos don't come through on the web at all--because they are a 3 feet wide and printed on canvas. I assume they came out of a view camera--and the edges make it look like it was some sort of a polaroid process. Whatever--I was stunned.
